Snax has been here for years. Honestly, I remember getting sandwiches from here back in 2005 when I first started working in the area, and it hasn't changed since. Plus, I don't think it was even new then.
They do some very cheap breakfast deals - a quid for a bacon roll for example. At lunch, they do these rather large bowls of chicken fried rice at the counter, as well as steak baguettes etc. They also do a small self serve Indian buffet at the same time.
In fact, the range of food they do is pretty tremendous. None of it is earth shatteringly great, but it's also fairly cheap. Its a solid lunch option when you have no clue what you want, as something here will take your fancy. -

Snax seems to be always open when I am in the area. You can not help but get some food the minute you walk through the doors. They serve good food at a fraction of the price that other places charge in the area.
Victoria can be quite expensive and to find home made meals for next to nothing that taste good, then you grab it. They tend to make hot meals behind the counter. At lunch times they set up an extra table inside for hot meals buffet type of thing.
There are about three tables and chairs outside but Snax is generally considered to be a take away than a restaurant. Because New Scotland Yard is next to Snax, they tend to get a lot of people in there at times.
